STAR Eco Station is a non-profit environmental education and exotic wildlife rescue center.
The STAR Eco Station's mission is "Preservation through Education." We carry out this mission daily by educating students, visitors and community members about the preservation of the environment and the inter-dependence of all living things. Working in collaboration with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and other government and environmental agencies, STAR Eco Station provides a last chance for illegal or abandoned exotic wildlife, as well as environmental education outreach programs. Aligned with California State Standards for environmental education, STAR Eco Station provides assemblies, classroom instruction and after school extended education, private and public tours, and mobile workshops for children, families and communities throughout the state.
