The Dallas Conservatory
The Dallas Conservatory (TDC) is a private performing arts school for talented and serious students of dance and theater, ages 8-18. Founded in 2010 by Jacqueline Porter, TDC offers world-class training and performance opportunities to prepare for a possible professional career.
Students are selected by audition for their professional potential and mental readiness to embark on the vigorous training required to turn their passion for the arts into a profession. TDC students are trained, monitored and mentored to be competitive for 1) admission into America’s top arts universities, summer programs, and apprentice companies, 2) college and summer scholarship offers, and 3) professional contracts.
The Dallas Conservatory shares studios, administration, and faculty with Park Cities Studios. It includes the TDC Academy, a daytime program with flexible academics for pre-professional students ages 10-18 and the Morning Arts Conservatory (MAC), a private arts education for ages 3-6.
