San Diego Gymnastics focuses on gymnastics as a recreational sport first and foremost, with the option to advance and participate in the competitive side as well. San Diego Gymnastics competitive team has a less rigorous schedule than other gyms as we believe that gymnastics is just one element in a child's life. Because of our structure, our gymnasts have less injuries, often do not reach "burn out" and have time for school and other sports and activities.
