    Terms of Service (Parents)

    1. Introduction

    Welcome to BirthdayQuest.com (the “Platform”) (“BirthdayQuest,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

    BirthdayQuest is an online platform that helps parents and guardians discover local venues and service providers for children’s birthday parties. By creating an account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using BirthdayQuest as a vendor or service provider (“Vendor,” “you”), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).

    If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

    2. Purpose of the Platform

    BirthdayQuest provides a directory and discovery service only. We introduce parents (“Users”) to local party vendors. We do not handle bookings, payments, or customer service on your behalf.

    All communications, transactions, and services occur directly between you and the User. BirthdayQuest does not verify or guarantee any vendor’s insurance, licensing, background, or quality of services.

    3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

    By joining BirthdayQuest, you represent that:

    • You are at least 18 years old and authorized to represent your business.
    • The information you submit is accurate, lawful, and complete.
    • You will maintain the accuracy of your listing at all times.
    • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any activity that occurs under your account.

    4. Vendor Obligations

    You agree to:

    • Provide only truthful, non-misleading information about their services.
    • Use their own lawful photographs, text, and materials.
    • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations applicable to their business, including permits, safety standards, and taxes.
    • Refrain from posting offensive, infringing, or fraudulent content.

    5. Ownership and License

    You retain ownership of your content. By submitting information, text, or images to BirthdayQuest, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for purposes of operating and promoting the Platform (e.g., showing your listing in search results or social posts).

    6. Fees

    At this time, BirthdayQuest listings are free of charge. We may introduce paid listings or commission-based options in the future, but you will be notified in advance and may choose whether to participate.

    7. User Responsibilities

    Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between BirthdayQuest and any Vendor. You operate independently and are solely responsible for your services, communications, and business practices.

    8. Disclaimer of Liability

    BirthdayQuest is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations. We are not responsible for any loss, claim, damage, or dispute arising from:

    • Your use of the Platform;
    • Any interaction or transaction between you and a parent; or
    • Any inaccuracy or omission in a listing.

    Use of BirthdayQuest is at your own risk.

    9. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BirthdayQuest, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from:

    • Your content or conduct;
    • Your breach of these Terms; or
    • Your interactions with Users.

    10. Termination and Removal

    We may edit, suspend, or remove any listing or account at our discretion, including if content is misleading, inactive, or inappropriate. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@birthdayquest.com.

    11. Modifications

    BirthdayQuest may update these Terms periodically. We will notify Vendors of material changes via email or dashboard notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
